Wedding and Event Rental Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Change in Wedding Plans:
    • If the event is canceled more than 90 days before the rental date, the security deposit will be refunded with a $100.00 administrative charge.
    • Between 60 and 90 days prior, 50% of the security deposit will be forfeited.
    • Within 60 days of the rental date, the entire rental fee or security deposit will be forfeited.
  2. Non-Profit Rate:
    • For non-profit rates, please contact our office at 407-644-2237.
  3. Venue Capacity:
    • The Woman’s Club can comfortably seat up to 120 guests or up to 150 guests without tables for a wedding ceremony only.
  4. Table Information:
    • We offer 15 round tables (60” diameter) seating up to 8 with banquet chairs, or 10 with rented chivari chairs.
    • Additionally, we have 20 6ft banquet tables seating 8 guests each.
  5. Setup Details:
    • We will set tables and chairs based on your provided floor plan.
    • Outdoor setup is not provided, but tables and chairs can be moved outside by your team.
    • All events must conclude by 11 pm to comply with the City of Winter Park noise ordinance.
  6. Decorations Policy:
    • Flowers, up lighting, and draping are allowed.
    • No attachment to walls or ceilings.
    • Real candles are permitted in hurricane or glass votive holders.
    • Sparklers, confetti, silly string, rice, birdseed or popcorn are not allowed.
    • Tossing flower petals or using bubbles outside is permitted.
    • Linens are required for all events.
  7. Ceremony at the Woman’s Club:
    • Ceremony setup is allowed, and outdoor resin folding chairs are recommended.
    • In case of rain, a tent can be set up on the lawn.
  8. Stage Usage:
    • The stage is for entertainment only; no guests or tables are allowed on the stage.
  9. Catering and Food:
    • Licensed and insured caterers are required for four-hour and premium two-hour rentals.
    • No outside food is allowed for these rental types.
  10. Alcohol Service:
    • Alcohol can be served by your catering company or a licensed bartending company.
    • No sale of alcohol on the property is permitted.
  11. Preferred Vendors:
    • A list of recommended vendors is available, though their use is not mandatory.
  12. Chairs and Furniture:
    • Basic banquet chairs are provided.
    • Antique furniture is available for use but cannot be moved.
  13. Parking:
    • Parking is available on both Lyman and Fairbanks sides, with additional street parking and a nearby garage.
  14. Wireless Internet:
    • Yes, wireless internet is available.
  15. Rehearsals:
    • Rehearsals are contingent on the rental schedule and outdoor space availability.
  16. Lost Key Policy:
    • A $400 fee will be charged for any lost or unreturned keys.
